"Mom, I didn't know that Kristy, is just Rory's girlfriend, and not his wife? Is Rory, just a kid?
Me: No, Rory is older than your dad, but just because you are older doesn't mean that you have to be married.
Jayda: So old people can have girlfriends too?
Me: yes
Jayda: But if you have a wife, then you can't have a girlfriend? Because that would just be awkward?
