Summer happenings

Stopping by to post a few pictures from the past month. We are soaking up every bit of summer we can, although none of that is being done at the lake this year for some reason. Jed and I celebrated 10 years of wedded bliss a few weeks ago! Crazy how time has gone so quickly. We didn't do anything special, we are hoping to take a trip this fall when things are less crazy.

Both girls got to go rope over at Rusty's a few nights ago. At first Jed told Jayda she could go and told Paisley she couldn't. Of course, tears followed that so he broke down and told her she could go. Instant stop to the tears, she jumped off his lap and ran to her room to get her boots on. I wish I had gotten a picture of her face light up, it was pretty precious. As seen in the 4th picture, she had a smile on her face the entire time. She LOVES her Lucy!

 

Jayda had a sleep over with a few friends. They played with makeup and concluded blue is not their best look!

The older group picture. I haven't seen the younger team picture yet. These kids did awesome. By the end of the season they were all hitting a pitched ball like old pro's! 

 

We participated in a Color Run in Rapid last weekend. It was a fun experience even though we stood in line to start longer than the race itself took! Lesson learned!
