Moving Forward

Just stopping in to update real quick. School is going fine for Jayda. I have a feeling this year might be a little more difficult and I'm probably going to have to constantly be checking on how things are going. Time will tell.

Paisley on the other hand, did not get to go to Head Start this year. Unfortunately they can only accept so many, and they are full. Apparently the 4 year old group has a ton of kids, which take up most of the spots. She was pretty disappointed, but thankfully the other two girls her age at day care, also did not get accepted. So that makes it a bit easier. She doesn't have to watch them come and go and be the one left out. There is a lady who runs a Christian based pre-school for 4 year olds, who is considering opening up a 3 year old class since so many did not get to go to Head Start this year. Really hoping she does. She did a great job when Jayda went there and Jayda absolutely loved it. So that's the story there.

The girls continue to love their kitties. Paisley was getting in the bath tub a few days ago and her kitty happened to run by the door. Paisley said, "Oh no! How embarrassing! My kitty saw my butt!" You'd have to hear her say embarrassing to really get how hilarious it was!

An update on the house building: We are pouring the footings today! Yay! And FINALLY heard from our lender that she had received some of the paperwork from the lien holder on our land, so things could start moving forward on the funding as well. Things are moving. Slowly..but moving!

And lastly, many of you know my good friend Josie. We've been buds since about 4th grade. Inseparable in the summers before we all went off to different high schools. Anyway, she delivered a very pre-mature baby a few weeks ago. They are all doing great, but need your prayers, as she will be in the NICU for quite a while.
