Jed had a bit of a rough day yesterday. It started out by him going outside to load up a horse that had a swollen leg and groin, to take to the vet. He got to the corrals, and the horse was dead :(
Then he went to the doctor to figure out what was wrong with him. He's been having dizzy issues, among other things. They diagnosed him with vertigo, which is an inner ear issue that effects your balance and equilibrium. He is supposed to go to physical therapy and basically "reset" his balance. So hopefully he'll get all straightened out soon.
Jayda had an end of year Kindergarten program, so he did make it into town for that. Then took the girls home and decided he should move the dead horse (Concho) out of the corral. So both of the girls got to witness a dead horse being lifted in the tractor bucked. How pleasant. Paisley was in awe. She can't stop talking about it. All night she kept saying, "Concho died. He's dead now...no more Concho. He got sick, and died. Poor Concho, me lubbed him." Probably wasn't the best idea to let her witness the whole thing, I don't think she's going to let him forget about it anytime soon!
